Owls Class Yr 1/2
Welcome to Owls Class
We are a mixed Year 1 and Year 2 class.
Owls is a friendly, enthusiastic class who enjoy learning and love having a story at the end of the day.
Our class room has a wonderful role play area linked to our topic, a comfy reading area with some new reading buddies and a developing outdoor area.
Our teacher is Mrs Hood.
Good evening to you all. I thought I would share some pictures with you so that you can see what our classroom looks like ready for Year 1's to return tomorrow.
I thought it would be nice for you to also have a little story about returning to school. Open the document below.
Hello again everybody, I hope you have had a lovely half term and enjoyed the sunny🌞 weather. I hope you remembered to slip👕, slap🧴, slop👒🧢 and stayed safe in the sun.
Well its going to be a little bit different again from now on as I am back in school teaching Year 1's but don't worry Year 2's I won't forget about you.
This week I have created for you a new outdoor classroom to explore. Your very own virtual Garden!
Click on the link below to access books, activities and videos.
Our story at the end of the day will be from this amazing book 📚 'The book of Hopes' which has been written by over 110 authors and illustrators to comfort, inspire and entertain you all. Follow the links below.
At the bottom of the link is button to click to read the book. It would be lovely Year 2 if you could recommend your favourites for me to share with Year 1.
Well back to our learning again this week 📚📝➕➖✖➗😃.
All of the activities for you this week are in the documents below. Remember that you don't have to complete them all in one go.
If you are not in school are some sites that you may want to visit. Make sure you choose the correct year group.
Another good site which you may want to visit for phonics. New lessons are added each day, just scroll down to your year group. Year 2 it is always good to have a refresh.
But before you start you know I like to start week with a new song🎶 . We will be singing this one in school at the start of each day and it would be lovely to think that you are all joining in with us and it would put a smile on our faces!
Activities for the week beginning 1st June 2020
