Owls Class Yr 1/2
Welcome to Owls Class
We are a mixed Year 1 and Year 2 class.
Our teacher is Mrs Hood.
Owls is a friendly, enthusiastic class who enjoy learning and love having a story at the end of the day.
This year you will be doing more outdoor learning so make sure you always have a coat in school.
I have been finding some loose parts for our learning over the summer and hopefully you will be able to bring some in when you return. Have a look at the picture below for inspiration.

Why does Christmas matter to Christians?
Home learning will be spellings linked to our spelling rules/phonics for the week. It will also have a maths fluency task. Also remember to read at least 4 times a week.
It will be sent home every Friday and should be returned electronically by Wednesday.
For P.E. I would advise children to wear their outdoor P.E. kit (including trainers) to be prepared for any weather. Regular P.E. sessions with a coach are on Fridays.
